The team had to settle for a 6th place finish going 284.39

Bryan Coia and the Out-Witt-Ed II Chevy brought home a strong 4th place finish, but believes there could be a hidden ignition problem that will not allow the small block powerplant to reach it's full potential. As the test puller, they put down a solid run of 292.68, but were surprised when their gear choice didn't get them closer to the pack. They returned as the final truck of the session, changing gears in hopes they could grab the win and got pretty darn close, going 300.30. However, the gear change didn't provide the expected spark to get them over the top.
The team will look to diagnose the problem and will be back on the track this Thursday evening on the NTPA Region II circuit at the Harrison County Fair in Cadiz, OH at 7PM!

The next opportunity to do so will be on the 4th of July when the Super Stock 4x4 trucks make their return to the Big Butler Fair in Prospect, PA since 2005 at 6:00 PM!
Racing the rain, the Super Stock 4x4 trucks crawled down the track for the first time since 2005 at the Big Butler Fair in Prospect, PA in front of a sellout crowd on Independence Day this past Thursday evening for Western PA Pullers. Coia had to lift at 100 feet due to the violent bouncing, loosing all foward momentum and had to settle for 5th going 245.55. The team has checked and changed about everything on the front-end of the truck this season, but can't seem to figure out why the truck is bouncing more this season, especially the three Western PA hooks on the "Mack" sled. The team is going to look at making further changes and will be ready to go when the NTPA Region II Super Stock FWD trucks make their return to the track on Saturday July 20th at the Clark County Fair in Springfield, OH at 7:00 PM.
